QR Codes Available In Samsung Apps Web Version

As promised by Samsung to introduce new features on the celebration of two year’s of Samsung Apps service, Samsung has already made available of a new service to users i.e QR Codes in Samsung Apps Web Version. With the help of a QR Code Reader App you can download your preferred app on your phone by scanning it.

New bada Device’s Release Dates

Samsung introduced three new bada phones namely Wave 3, Wave M, Wave Y at Berlin. It’s a known fact that Wave 3 will be released to European market in October but particular release date was not announced. Samsung released a PDF file of it bada developer day in China, which displayed the release date of new bada device’s and other Samsung Apps upgrade

Updated bada SDK 2.0.2 Available Now!

Today samsung has released an update to it’s own bada OS “bada SDK”. SDK has been updated to version from 2.01 to 2.02.  New update brings support to WQVGA phones which was not supported in version 2.02. Here are the new features included in the new update

Samsung Kies New Update Available

Today appeared a new update to Samsung Kies Application. Download link is not yet available through Samsung Apps Web Store, so you need to update your Samsung Kies within the Application. Changes with this version are not known may be a bug fix for new type of spoofing technique. If you find any new updates kindly post them in Comments Section

 

Samsung “There Is No Decision On Open Source”

Rumors were picking up that Samsung is going to open bada for external developer i.e making it an Open Source, Some curious user posted this question to Samsung bada official twitter account and indeed got a reply from them.

Samsung To Make bada Open Source in 2012

According Wall Street Journal website, Samsung is planning to open bada for external developers next year to improve it’s growth and become self reliance and reduce its dependance on Google’s Android. This move from Samsung Electronics  is aimed at keeping up Samsung’s strong growth momentum in high-end mobile devices.

bada Developer Day Tour India

Recently Samsung has held its “bada developer day” in Bangalore, India. About 250 members participated in this event. Starting from India, Samsung Electronics has planned to open its bada developer global tour in over 18 countries including China and Russia.

bada SDK Updated to 2.01

Samsung has released an update for it’s recently released bada SDK 2.0, in order to fix some bugs. bada SDK 2.0.1 is now available to download in bada developer site. Changes are minor, checkout the update notes below
