Updated bada SDK 2.0.2 Available Now!
Today samsung has released an update to it’s own bada OS “bada SDK”. SDK has been updated to version from 2.01 to 2.02. New update brings support to WQVGA phones which was not supported in version 2.02. Here are the new features included in the new update
● WQVGA devices (beta)
The previous SDK 2.0.1 only supported HVGA and WVGA applications. SDK 2.0.2 includes beta support for WQVGA application development, so you can now build HVGA, WVGA, and WQVGA applications.
● Ad library for bada 1.1 and 1.2
SDK 2.0.2 supports in-app ads for previous bada versions, so you can now serve ads for bada 1.1, 1.2, and 2.0 applications.
● System privileged API groups
System privileged API groups are available to all bada developers from SDK 2.0.2 onward. Previously, only a few members had access to system privileged API groups due to user privacy concerns, security, or bada Server communication issues. However, from now on, system privileged APIs will be available to all bada developers to increase developer convenience and benefits for end users, so we hope you can now build some brilliant, unique bada applications using this APIs. Please refer to ‘Privileged API Groups‘ for further details.
