Samsung And Intel To Develop New Open Source TIZEN

It’s a known fact that Samsung is one of the key members of the LiMo Foundation and in the past, have dabbled with few devices running LiMo OS. Now the news comes from LiMo and Linux Foundation that they have come together to develop a new open-source OS called Tizen. Tizen will be an open-source project that will integrate the code of LiMo and MeeGo with standards support of HTML5 and WAC.

Samsung To Make bada Open Source in 2012

According Wall Street Journal website, Samsung is planning to open bada for external developers next year to improve it’s growth and become self reliance and reduce its dependance on Google’s Android. This move from Samsung Electronics  is aimed at keeping up Samsung’s strong growth momentum in high-end mobile devices.

“Naught” New Video With Accelerometer Control

 Few days ago I have posted a video of Spanish developers “Blue Shadow Games” titled as Naught, Video showed us the gameplay of Naught on “bada” operating system. Game was missing an additional feature that “ios” version had i.e Acceleometer control, Developers initially thought that it would not be possible with Wave phones, But today they released a new video of their Naught working on Wave with accelerometer control.  Today Samsung has announced it’s new flagship device Wave 3 with two other low end bada phones. Wave 3 comes with bada 2.0 pre-installed.
